Episode 1 – A Glimpse
– Edith and Fenwa appear to have the sort of relationship everyone would envy. There is laughter, loving moments, and plans shared, projecting that their love will not falter. But as the festivities over celebrating their milestones become a part of routine reality, cracks start to show. A light-hearted conversation turns into something more serious, and differences regarding intimacy and long-term expectations are revealed. Beneath the surface of love lies the question: are they really aligned, or are they just reaching for the potential of being perfect for each other?
Episode 2 – True Colours
– A minor argument between Edith and Fenwa ultimately dissolves into a heated quarrel, forcing them to confront the everyday irritations that come with living together. Chores, routines, and presumed expectations arise, each of them feeling not heard and misunderstood. Though the quarrel dies down, tension doesn’t abate. The resulting silence is thicker than the words that have been exchanged, leaving Edith to question whether the relationship is strong enough to hold up to these ongoing scrapes.
Episode 3 – A for Adulting
– The two have a more serious talk about gender roles, respect, and what they bring to the relationship. Edith tries to pin down Fenwa into accepting her point of view, but he is not about to give in. As they seem to be getting into that fragile balance, a visit from an unexpected guest comes in—someone from Fenwa’s past whose presence topples Edith entirely. The confrontation haunts her, sowing seeds of doubt she cannot shake off.
Episode 4 – Children are a Headache
– When Edith and Fenwa are left to babysit for a friend, the exercise provides their own visions of the future with an unrelenting exposure. Edith acclimatizes to children and considers a life beyond the present one. Fenwa gets frustrated and admits fatherhood is not something he wants. The revelation comes like a bombshell, wrecking Edith’s faith in the relationship. The temporary test now appears as an irreversible abyss.
Episode 5: Outside looking in
– Edith is left in shock upon learning that Fenwa has gone out of his way to distance her from his family. Family is a large component of who she is; to him, it’s a complicated history he does not wish to relive. Their argument over it carries over into an argument over culture, loyalty, and trust. Edith is left wondering if Fenwa sees her as being a part of his future, or if she is merely something in his existence that can be put aside when it is no longer convenient for him.
Episode 6: A blast from the past
– The harmony in Fenwa and Edith’s home is disrupted when Fenwa invites an old pal, Dotun, over for the weekend. Edith is not bothered about it—until Dotun arrives, brazen and charismatic, freely talking about the past with Fenwa. Horrified that Dotun not just dated him but met his family as well, Edith is taken aback and confronts Fenwa in secret. Their tense dialogue is ended with Dotun sneaking away subtly, leaving the couple to an atmosphere of tension.
Episode 7: The exes game
– Still stinging from Dotun’s visit, Edith distances herself from Fenwa, pouring all her energy into household tasks. As Edith consoles Mariam about her drama-filled romance, she claims her own doubts with Fenwa—especially after receiving texts from her ex, Abdul. Meanwhile, Fenwa is trying to figure out how Dotun may have sunk a business venture. When finally, Edith lets loose with her anger, Fenwa reasserts his love for her. But before their conversation gets to some sense, a text message arrives on Fenwa’s phone that sends him into a tizzy.
Episode 8: How do you say love in your language?
– Family is important because Edith chats with her grandmother on the phone for hours, drinking in blessings on her birthday. Fenwa is distracted though—he’s discussing a series of threatening messages with a friend that have been bothering him. Even light-hearted moments, like laughing about FIFA or Edith ribbing him as she teaches her a language, can’t conceal the tension. The tension reaches its height when Fenwa is suddenly served with court documents, forcing him to deal with an imminent crisis.
Episode 9: Knock Knock
– While pressure builds, Fenwa sets out to Ibadan to mobilize funds and resolve his problems legally. Edith is on her own and becomes increasingly upset when repeated knocks on the door unsettle her and frighten her. While Fenwa makes provision for somebody to monitor her, the truth is worse—those knocks are not random, but people who have links to Fenwa’s problems. Edith is unaware of the danger closing in on her.
Episode 10: Believing is seeing-or not
– Edith’s sister drops by and invites her to their father’s upcoming church event. When Fenwa comes back home, though, his reluctance to go sparks tension. Edith is upset that he won’t make even a symbolic concession, especially when she feels she has sacrificed so much for him. The fight escalates into a heated discussion about values, priorities, and their future together—leaving Edith to question if they can truly have a life together.
Episode 11: Count to ten
– When she comes back from her dad’s function, Edith begins packing to leave. Fenwa pleads desperately with her to remain behind, but she attacks him with a video of him and Dotun, exposing secrets he had bottled up. Fenwa finally breaks down under pressure about the severity of his struggles—disastrous investments, debts, and Dotun’s terrifying offer to pay off what he owed. Though he cries that he never compromised, Edith is heartbroken that he never trusted her enough to share his pain with her. Choosing to leave, she gives him space to deal with his dilemmas alone. Yet, as Fenwa waits patiently for a return that seemed less likely, he gets brutally attacked in his own home, leaving the episode with a hair-raising cliffhanger.
Episode 1 – Ghost

Reopened old wounds, surprise revelations, and the appearance of previous flames mean both are forced to confront their insecurities as they navigate family pressure, deception, and discovering themselves. As secrets are revealed and allegiances are tested, Edith and Fenwa must decide if love can conquer the devastation that encircles them—or if moving on means finally letting go of them.
Episode 2: Broken Hearts
– Fenwa wakes to find Dotun and his mother beside him, feeding him a story in which Dotun is the hero. Agnes, on the other hand, coaxes Edith towards Nnamdi, a family friend who wishes to marry, but she is not interested. Despite her reluctance, she accepts going out on a date. Later, Dotun convinces Fenwa to move to a new home for his safety, while Edith, trying to move on, enjoys her new car with her friends. Just when she’s getting back to normal, Edith receives an unexpected phone call from her ex, Abdul.
Episode 3: Another Go?

Being with him again rekindles old flames for Edith, and she soon finds herself falling back into his world despite Nnamdi trying to woo her. She finally agrees to give Abdul another chance, with him promising marriage and commitment. Meanwhile, Dotun pushes Fenwa to pay attention to her, making him remember what she’s done for him. In the meantime, at home, matters with Agnes come to a climax, and Edith’s father throws her out. Having no other place to go, she shows up on Abdul’s doorstep, asking to come and live with him.
Episode 4: Daddy, I’m Grown
– Fenwa struggles with himself while he massages Dotun but gets carried away with fantasies about Edith, which annoys Dotun. Edith and Abdul rekindle intimacy through a kiss, but an unusual call interrupts them and makes Edith wonder about his loyalty. Her sister phones in and warns her against repeating past errors and advises Edith to leave Abdul if she is suspicious of him being unfaithful. Knowing that she owes people apologies, Edith begins to make amends with her dad and Mariam. Dotun goes out with Fenwa, determined to make up and love, even though Fenwa is scared. Later, Edith’s car breaks down close to Fenwa’s. Their brief encounter is cut short by Dotun’s over-the-top storm out, swearing to kill Edith. Infuriated and heartbroken, Edith lashes out at Fenwa and Abdul as traitors after everything they have done for her.
Episode 5: Frenemies
– She drives home crying to her father’s residence, trying to rationalize her emotions. Fenwa and Dotun enjoy a quiet night at the cinema, while Edith begs her father to let her return home, vowing to be nice to Agnes as his condition. When at her friends, family tensions dissolve as she catches up with her cousin, and Mariam comes back home from a date with Nnamdi in good mood. Edith comes clean that she has ended it with Abdul to her relief. While Fenwa discovers the fake test, he is left stunned.
Episode 6: Home Not So Sweet Home
– Fenwa’s mom soon delights in the “pregnancy,” insisting on a hasty wedding to preserve the family honour. Edith, though still dazed, is called by Tori and informed her cousin is keen on her. On the date, Edith overhears him talk business, even referring Fenwa for web jobs. In the evening, Fenwa secretly sends Edith a heartfelt voice notes stating he misses and loves her but knowing that he is presently engaged to Dotun. Edith listens in tears, struggling between sorrow and determination. Having seen through Dotun’s snare, she begins to devise how to get Fenwa out of the snare.
Episode 7: Intervention
– Edith finally confesses to her father that she lied about living with Tori when she was really with Fenwa. Though angry at first, he softens after hearing her struggles and encourages her to take control. With her friends’ help and Tori’s cousin’s hacking skills, Edith uncovers evidence exposing Dotun’s lies. At Fenwa’s house, Edith manages to speak to him privately. Fenwa is distraught and confesses he knows that she had saved his life and reveals his horrific history of abuse by a pastor as a reason for not going to church. Edith consoles him, revealing Dotun’s make-believe pregnancy and her role in hospitalising him. Assuring him she would always be around, Edith and Fenwa share a moment, nearly leaning towards a kiss as the episode ends.
Episode 8: Let sleeping dogs
– The finale opens with Edith in therapy, working through her trauma and anger, flashing back to a violent fight with Dotun for which she was arrested. Fenwa is also reflecting in therapy, going back to his childhood home and going up against old scars. Later, under joint therapy, Fenwa and Edith are open to each other: Fenwa expresses gratitude for support but admits his discomfort at public gatherings, while Edith is engaged on a path of self-love and independence. While Fenwa shows willingness to rekindle romance, Edith tactfully suggests that they are most likely not there yet. When asked whether they could ever reunite, both leave it in the air, concluding the season on a positive note of healing, growth, and hope.
