Kiza was pretty exciting they have those silent party headphones, that allows you listen to a different music than what the floor dj is playing! Pretty cool it was like the girls and I were in our own world; cause we listened to our the same channel at a time and dance together. Lol coolest part is no one was checking for you! Unlike Nigeria where someone woulda been watching our table, oh btw it was the same table as Trey Songz but we sure as heck ddnt spend no trey songz money! LOL! We don’t have such. I gotta say it was a good night, this morning before our trip to Tanzania, I rushed of to quickly see Neomi Wambui Nganga she’s an actress and plus size model turned designer, matter of fact she’s the only plus size designer in Kenya, and I must say im glad she’s repping for us out there, her pieces are gorgeous and she’s the sweetest soul, we’re like kindred spirits, it was almost like we had known each other for years! ‘Style By Neomi’ if you’re ever in Kenya, check her out! We arrived at the Tanzania airport and paid for our visa on arrival, after waiting for a lil bit, the guy comes back and gives seyitan that came to the cue last an actual visa, and gave me that was the first to submit my passport a stamp!!! I protested! And I won! LOL they changed it to a proper visa from the stamp! Wohooo! Tz is of to a great start! Before we headed to the hotel we stopped by UBA head office to see the TZ M.D, we’re at our hotel for the night, I don’t like it, goodnight!

Yooo! Last night was fun! Kiza’s a pretty dope club, you know? And the girls and I met the owner too, he’s cool people. We’ll definitely be back. But first, let’s go get Tanzania! I’ll miss this really nice hotel that I’d already gotten settled in (I actually unpacked), but the mosquitoes, bye to them. Hopefully, Tanzania helps me move on quickly. I’m super excited about Zanzibar! All that blue in the skies and in the ocean… I can already see all the beautiful pictures. We get to Dar es Salaam a little late, so we’re going to stay the night here. I’m out here trying to understand why these East Africans are afraid of adding spices to their food. Help me, if you understand. From our planning, it seems we are go for Zanzibar tomorrow. Bright and early too, so guys are going to sleep. Maybe the answer to this lack of spices will come to me in my sleep.

We leave for Tanzania and I didn’t tell any of the girls this, but I’m low key excited. I’m looking forward to the beach, the water, the sand, the salt in the air…. I really can’t wait to experience it. We land in Dar res Salaam at about past 5 and as soon as we do I know that we have missed the ferry 🙁 We meet Evans who is in charge of logistics for the group in Tanzania and he takes us to the head office where we meet the MD/CEO of UBA. An hour after, we check into our hotel and after discussing our movement plans for tomorrow I go straight to bed. While I stare at the big ass mosquitoes slowly drifting around the room and try over and over again to connect to the wifi on my phone, I focus all my thoughts on what Zanzibar has to offer tomorrow.

Travel day is upon us again…today we left Kenya for Dar es Salam in Tanzania and I gotta say it was a bitter sweet feeling cus kenya is so so rich but im not gonna lie I WILL NOT miss the traffic! After an hour or so of horrifically sitting on the the plane because as you know I absolutely HATE flying, we arrive at Dares salam. Now this place isn’t so bad…it’s pretty much like Nigeria but with fresher air…would probably explore in the morning oh wait….no I can’t- off to Zanzibar at first light to surprise Shayo at the wedding. Oh well Dar Es Salam it’s been real. We finally got an alright hotel to stay at and Amiola and I are roomies again…*insert evil laugh* I’m sure she is tired of me. LOL. Too bad. We went off to have dinner and two seconds after I am puking my guts out! Why you might ask? I’ll tell you why. It is because of the lack of 2 major ingredients in all East African food-Salt and Pepper!!! Basic ingredients for any food!! Gosh! Is it too much to ask??? Can’t wait to go home and eat a nice plate of indomie with sexy pepper! Abeg I’m going to bed jo! Goodnight! No kisses today…im pissed!
