REDTV brought Nollywood stars, creators, movie lovers, and members of the entertainment community together for a special screening of 19, the Nigerian crime drama written and directed by Tola Odunsi. Held across Genesis Cinemas and EbonyLife, the screenings gave guests an evening of good company, shared reactions, and a chance to experience the film together.
Starring Stan Nze as Ndubuisi Madueke, 19 follows a brilliant young man whose difficult upbringing and desire for a better life lead him into the world of cybercrime. Set against the backdrop of Nigeria’s early internet era, the film explores ambition, survival, influence, and the choices that can shape a person’s path.
From the opening scenes to the final moments, the audience stayed locked into Ndubuisi’s story, reacting to the tension, surprises, humour, and emotional moments along the way. Stan Nze led viewers through Ndubuisi’s transformation, while Sola Sobowale, Bisola Aiyeola, Deyemi Okanlawon, William Benson, Ademola Adedoyin, Charles Okafor, Helen Enado Odigie, Tayo Faniran, and Boma Akpore brought the different sides of the story to life.
The screening also gave guests the opportunity to meet some of the people behind the film. At EbonyLife, Bisola Aiyeola and Helen Enado Odigie joined guests at the screening, while Deyemi Okanlawon and William Benson were present at Genesis Cinemas alongside director Tola Odunsi and Bola Atta.
For REDTV, the screening was another opportunity to bring people together and create a memorable night of entertainment.
The movie night may be over, but there’s plenty more to watch on REDTV.
